Lin Xiucheng is a Chinese entrepreneur who has a net worth of $1.5 billion. Lin Xiucheng has made a comeback to billionaires' circles on the back of the doubled stock price of his LED light maker Sanan Electronics. The company, which is the main source of Lin's net worth, specializes in production of LED "wafers", or semi-conductors made of gallium nitride, which are generally cheaper to manufacture than chips.
However, Lin Xiucheng has made some other investments like making a joint venture with New Mexico's Emcore to develop Suncore Photovoltaics.
