Raj Kumar and Kishin RK are a Singaporean father-and-son duo who shares a net worth of $2.1 billion. They debuted on the world's richest list after one year of active deal-making that in turn made them add new assets to their Royal Holdings/RB Capital property portfolio in Singapore. Their net worth has been constantly on the rise ever since 2001 when father Raj Kumar and his younger brother Asok inherited an equal part of the family empire.
After he had his son join the business, Kumar managed to buy the 223-room Gallery Hotel for $180 million last July, right after snatching the Quayside retail block next door to it. As for the most recent project Kishin's been working on, it is the newest venture in RB Capital Healthcare. They also opened their 442-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel in the Clark Quay area earlier this year.
