The Manhattan rental apartment where Michelle Trachtenberg lived at the time of her death has already found a new tenant, The Post has learned.

The 39-year-old actress, celebrated for her performances in “Harriet the Spy” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” resided in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom dwelling at 1 Columbus Place near Columbus Circle for just five months before her sudden passing.

Less than a month after her body was discovered on Feb. 26, the property went back on the market — listing on March 20 for $7,700 per month. It found a new tenant within 24 hours, securing a monthly rent of $7,670, according to StreetEasy records.

Trachtenberg inked a lease for the $7,500-a-month apartment, which overlooks the Hudson River, in September of 2024.

    Months later, however, tragedy struck.

Trachtenberg’s mother discovered her unresponsive in this unit, and emergency responders declared her deceased at the scene.

Listing details for the fairly modest-looking residence, which occupies roughly 1,000 square feet, include a narrow galley kitchen with quartz countertops that leads into a combined living and dining area. The home also has a washer/dryer unit. The bedrooms are on opposing ends of the main room. The primary bedroom features its own ensuite bathroom.

One Columbus Place, as the building is named, is a 51-story complex that underwent a major overhaul in 2018. The property comprises two towers offering a mix of layouts, from studios to three-bedroom homes, many featuring oversize corner windows with sweeping vistas of Central Park, the Hudson River and the city skyline.

Amenities for residents include a fifth-floor sun deck, a lounge, a kids’ playroom, a pool and a 6,000-square-foot gym.

Representatives for the building did not respond to inquiries from The Post.

Trachtenberg’s career highlights included a breakout role in the 1996 film “Harriet the Spy,” followed by stints on “Gossip Girl” and a lead part in “Ice Princess.”

Early last year, she took to social media to dispel rumors about her health, sparked by online chatter about her noticeable thinness and a yellowish complexion that some interpreted as jaundice.

“I’m happy and healthy,” she said at the time. However, she had undergone a liver transplant in the months leading up to her death.

The day after she passed away, New York’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner announced that both the cause and circumstances of her death remained inconclusive.

Trachtenberg’s Orthodox Jewish family opposed an autopsy on religious grounds, and with no evidence suggesting foul play, the medical examiner respected their wishes, leaving the case unresolved.
